Glogster will open the NASA Challenge in November.
In the meantime, sign-up if you haven't already to get your Design Packet and start to search for NASA Spinoffs.
  • Parent/Guardian & Teacher Project Checklist

    1 Assist students with registration. All students need parent/guardian consent. *Upon registration, Student Design Packets provided.


    • Students sign up individually online. They will need to know their parent/guardian email or have their parent/guardian present.
    • Parents register their students. Teachers - send home “Letter to Parent.
    • Teacher initiates registration. Parent consent still required. See Forms & Materials.
    • For those not able to register and/or give permission online, use the Offline Registration form. See Forms & Materials.

    2 Carefully review rules, timeline, and guidelines.

    3 Support students as they gather information about the Spinoff technology. Use the Resources page on this website.

    4 Guide students through the grade-appropriate “Steps to Complete the OPSPARC Glogster Multimedia Poster” documents to complete the OPSPARC Glog.

    5 Help students in grade 9-12 post their Glog no later than February 10, 2017 and students in grades 3-8 post their Glog by March 13, 2017.

    6 Share links for the Public Choice Voting in April 2017.

    7 For High School Teams Selected for InWorld OPSPARC -- Show your support of the selected InWorld OPSPARC teams by being aware of due dates. College mentors will provide guidance for all InWorld OPSPARC work.

February 17 (Grades 9-12 Only): 20 Teams selected for inWORLD.
March: Top 10 Finalists Selected.
April: Public Voting.
April 14 (Grades 9-12 Only): Top 5 Teams Selected.
April 25 - 27 (Grades 9-12 Only): Design Reviews.
May: Winners Announced.
June: Winners Workshops & Celebration at NASA Goddard.
